Slow Ageing Essentials has been formulated for every age, type and gender of skin including adolescent, menopausal and sensitive skin types – it’s suitable for everyone!

On the contrary, oily and combination complexions love essential oils for balancing and regulating sebum protection. Essential Facial Essence contains ylang ylang for this reason. A natural antioxidant, it helps to normalise sebum production and regulate natural moisture levels. The combination and essential oils and pure plant oils in Facial Essence also improve the absorption and effectiveness of your moisturiser. 

Absolutely! All our formulations have been created to be suitable for all skin types, ages and genders. For example, our Essential Facial Essence makes the perfect pre-shave oil by softening the beard and easing razor glide; it’s also an ideal post-shave oil to soothe and calm irritations. Essential Face Wash makes a superb shaving cream, giving a smooth, close shave – our Founder David Lieber swears by it! Finish by applying Essential Face Moisturiser to hydrate and protect. 

Essential Facial Essence is a powerhouse of antioxidant essential oils and pure hazelnut seed oil that boosts the radiance, elasticity and resilience of every complexion. It also boosts the effectiveness of subsequent products. Simply massage 3 drops into cleansed skin and massage in using our Skin’ergy application technique before applying Essential Face Moisturiser.

The range has been developed to work in unison for best results and we recommend using the products for a minimum of 30 days – that’s one skin renewal cycle – to really see the benefits. To achieve maximum results, apply your products using our Skin’ergy self-massage application technique.

We believe in a ‘less is more’ approach. In fact, dermatologists agree that bombarding skin with too many different products can cause sensitivity and irritations. We have therefore created what we feel is the essential skincare edit to cleanse, boost, protect, restore, nourish and balance for healthy, naturally radiant skin - all over. Each product has been formulated to work in complete synergy with the others, making additional products obsolete.

They are also multi-taskers and can be combined in many different ways to create new products and treatments. However, we may introduce the occasional new product if we feel it’s of significant benefit to slowing the effects of ageing on the skin or enhances the effectiveness of other products in the range.

We do… only it’s called Essential Face Balm and works slightly differently! This restorative blend of deeply nourishing botanical butters and anti-inflammatory, antioxidant essential oils regenerates and renews skin overnight leaving it infinitely softer, smoother and glowing.

This spa-in-a-jar is super potent, so use 2-3 times a week for an intensive boost. In between, apply Facial Essence and then Face Moisturiser before bed to maintain skin’s moisture levels. Face Balm can be used on any complexion but is particularly ideal for very dry, stressed or winter skin.

We use recyclable glass, no single use plastic and no outer packaging. Instead, we send our products tissue wrapped together with a 100% cotton, reusable bag in a recycled cardboard box containing protective compostable box filler chips. Our bottle closures are currently produced from a variety of materials but with recent technological advances, we hope to switch to a more sustainable solution in the near future.

Ingredients & Safety

Slow Ageing products do include some botanicals that may not be suitable for nut allergy sufferers.

For example: all our products (except Essential Face Wash and Essential Exfoliating Face & Body Polish)contain hazelnut seed oil; Essential Gentle Cleanse and Essential Exfoliating Face & Body Polish contain coconut oil; Essential Face Balm contains cocoa seed oil and shea butter; Essential Face Balm contains jojoba seed oil and Essential Exfoliating Face & Body Polish contains nutmeg so do use your discretion and check the individual product listings and ingredients before ordering.

Please note this list is not exhaustive

Many essential oils such as Roman chamomile, neroli and frankincense are perfectly safe to use during pregnancy and can be very beneficial. However, some are contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding including basil and rosemary. If you are at all unsure, please do speak to your doctor before using any products containing essential oils.

We despatch our orders the same day if received before 2pm and the following day for orders received after 2pm. In normal circumstances you can expect to receive your order the day after despatch.

If in the unusual situation you have not received your order, please contact us at orders@slowageing.co.uk.  

We are always very sorry to hear about any delay as we endeavour to despatch all our orders within 24 hours.

However, sometimes there are problems in transit that are beyond our control. In these instances, we will always check with our warehouse as soon as possible regarding the status of your order and advise you of the outcome together with a proposed solution.

Subscribe & Save

Our convenient subscription service ensures you never run out of Slow Ageing products whilst also saving you 10%.

To sign up, click on the ‘Subscribe & Save’ option alongside your chosen product and select your preferred delivery schedule – either every 4, 6 or 8 weeks – and insert your payment details.

Your chosen product will automatically be sent at your selected interval and will renew at the price and frequency listed until it ends or you cancel.

All cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy. and subscriptions cannot be changed or cancelled until after the second subscription order has been placed i.e. a minimum of two orders.

Unfortunately, your free gift cannot be swapped for a different product.

Returns & Refunds

We hope you are delighted with your Slow Ageing products. However, if you do have any queries relating to your order, please email orders@slowageing.co.uk. For any other issues, concerns or comments, please contact team@slowageing.co.uk and we will do our very best to help.

If you decide that the products are not suitable for you, we offer a 30-day full refund or exchange policy. That means that within 30 days of receiving your order we will offer you a no-quibbles refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, carefully wrap the items (ideally in the packaging they came in) and send them back to the following address:

It is advisable to obtain trackable shipping service as we can only take responsibility for items once they arrive with us. Please include your order number, contact details and reason for return. If you are exchanging for another item, please also detail which product you wish to swap it for.

Refunds can take up to 10 days to appear back into your account. Exchanges can take up to 10 days for the replacement item/s to be received.
